The Lord caught up with me in 1984 and has blessed me ever since with the various highs and lessons from life. I was encouraged to read a Bible by a good friend and business associate, John Fitzpatrick.For about three years I dipped into various parts of the book and was gradually confronted by the thought that Jesus, who two thousand years after he walked the earth, remains one of those most talked-about and influential people who has ever lived.
In the pages of the Bible it occurred to me that based on what he is reported to have actually said, he was either mad, bad or God. And as uncomfortable for me as it was I had in the end to accept he was God; and have been exploring his life, character, teachings and followers ever since.
