Starting daily planning time from scratch
Try this now
Make a list of everything you can think of that is “incomplete” or “unfinished” in your life, you know projects you’ve started, commitments you’ve made, phone calls – letters or emails to respond to.
Once you’ve written the list, split them into three categories
1. Those things that you really want to work on we will call goals or objectives.
2. Maintenance tasks that have to be done.
3. Things others have passed onto you not related to either goals or maintenance.
Evaluate the balance of those three categories, happy with the result?
If not here is what you need to do on a daily basis. Taking small steps forward each time.
Invest 11 ~ 20 minutes in yourself every day
Set aside a few minutes every day to review where you are at and what you want to do next. Select a regular time when you know you will be energised and will not be interrupted. First thing in the morning or at the end of the working day are the two most popular times.
