Behavioural Interviewing
Workshop Overview
This two-day programme will provide participants with an in depth look at how interview at a behavioural level, collecting more precise evidence of the likelihood of the candidate succeeding in the role on offer.
It will enable delegates to experience the interviewing process as a whole and give the delegates a clear understanding of their role and responsibilities in developing the questions, the environment and the skill to select the highest quality of candidate.
Training Methods
The programme is highly interactive and participative (70% participant 30% trainer). It includes individual coaching by the training consultant and videoed role -play using real candidates from an employment agency to enable objective feedback of participants' skills and techniques.
The programme is based on three main learning concepts; brain-based learning, retention of learning and return on investment methodology.

Pre-Course Requirements:
- Participants will be required to complete the pre-course assessments and assignments
Post-course Requirements:
- Deploy action plan
- Coaching session with line manager
- Run interview planning meetings with assigned partners for at least three interviews
- Reading assignment and submission of questionnaire
